Overview
DUTIES : Lead a software development team for automotive electrification products (inverters, converters, and chargers). This is a hybrid position based at 2151 E. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, IN 46902, with work from home optional. The employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance and may travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of the time. Responsibilities
Lead a global software team to deliver software for products in the automotive electrification domain, such as inverters, converters, and chargers. Manage international distributed software engineering teams for automotive electronics projects. Conduct resource planning and tracking; conduct feature/function planning and tracking; conduct error estimation and tracking. Monitor and measure project-level performance (metrics); track and plan input/output deliverables from/to other competencies. Serve as customer and project management contact for planning topics; support internal and external audits, project-level risk management, and change management. Negotiate timing and content of deliveries with customers, subcontractors, and project teams; support software process adherence and compliance with quality assurance standards. Lead and train the team in agile methodology-based development; serve as the subject matter expert engineer to lead respective programs. Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering and 48 months of experience in automotive software development. Required experience includes: 36 months of software project management; experience with automotive and embedded software; experience with agile development/management techniques; experience working with globally distributed teams; experience with software quality processes (ASPICE or CMMI).
