Environmental Health and Safety Manager

As the Environmental Health Safety and Security Manager at our San Jose Plant, you'll foster a culture of safety to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses. Your role includes implementing safety standards, providing impactful training, and developing innovative hazard prevention programs. Your expertise will help identify and mitigate workplace health and safety risks. You'll lead environmental compliance activities, ensuring our facility adheres to regulations. As the Environmental Health Safety and Security Manager at our San Jose, CA Eggo plant, you'll be part of a dedicated and diverse team. San Jose, the birthplace of the Eggo waffle, supplies the majority of the West Coast and is our only plant in California. Our plant promotes team spirit and community involvement through engaging activities and volunteer opportunities. You'll embrace a wide range of perspectives and experiences, contributing to one of the most diverse plants in the company. A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

Functional Support:

Serve as the technical resource for plant safety and environmental compliance. Process Management:

Ensure accurate EHS recordkeeping, document management, and case management. Prepare and submit required records and reports. Leadership:

Lead and collaborate on safety and environmental programs with a strong emphasis on building a preventative culture. Prioritize and mitigate site hazards and risks proactively. Participate in EHS performance improvement initiatives to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Delivering Success:

Track, report, and analyze EHS performance. Manage site EHS programs. Use problem-solving skills to support leadership and achieve results. We're Looking for Someone With

Strong experience and knowledge of safety and environment processes and procedures. Strong leadership, training, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated organizational, communication, research, and analytical skills. Experience and/or familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations. Experience with Microsoft Office and plant specific software systems. Compensation Insights

The annual salary range is $129,584-$194,376, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill.
