Location: Miami/Fort Lauderdale
Salary: up to $160K (depending on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for Heavy Civil, DOT, and sitework construction projects based on plans, specs, and proposals. Review project documentation and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope clarity. Analyze historical data and market trends to support competitive bidding strategies. Participate in bid review meetings and present estimates to leadership and clients. Maintain detailed records of estimates, assumptions, and subcontractor quotes for project handoff. Key Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of estimating experience in Heavy Civil Construction, preferably with FDOT and sitework projects. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, B2W, or similar) and MS Excel. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quantity takeoffs. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities. Benefits
