Hybrid Purchasing Manager
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Sunnyvale Technical Center, Sunnyvale, California or Warren Technical Center, Warren, Michigan three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]. As a member of the GM semiconductor & PCB purchasing team, you will be part of developing a strong PCB supply chain to support our fast-growing electronics & software needs. Specifically, you will be responsible for PCBs and actively leading the development of commodity strategies, sourcing/negotiations, budget, and execution. You will manage relationships, collaborate with suppliers and internal key stakeholders including engineering, legal, finance, operations and drive cross-functional alignment. Work is of a complex nature involving a considerable amount of initiative, analytical work and a high level of independent judgment. The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. The salary range for this role is $122,700 - $196,200. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. Bonus potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance. GM offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs. Required qualifications include 5+ years of post graduate experience in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Program Management, proven leadership capability, strong analytical skills, and highly proficient oral and written communication skills and adept at engaging and presenting to Senior Executives. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field and MBA or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
