Description
The ideal candidate will be able to market municipal clients, develop business, design, lead, and manage projects related to water & wastewater. Work with Coleman Company staff including other civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors to prepare master plans, construction documents, specifications, estimates, and reports in a timely and efficient manner. Work with permitting agencies, utility companies, and other stakeholders to shepherd projects towards approval. Provide engineering design services including calculation support on water treatment, wastewater treatment and linear pipeline projects. Develop Basis of Design Reports to ensure engineering designs meet both client and regulatory requirements. Capability to develop, update and review project specifications as required. Experience with the following software: Autodesk Civil3D WaterCAD SewerCAD ArcGIS (preferred) Experience coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure project success. Provide support to company project managers and leadership to deliver high quality, cost effective, and constructable projects. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Team with the Marketing Manager and Project Manager to prepare fee proposals and Statements of Qualifications. Maintain frequent communication with clients and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project milestones are achieved. Prepare and present project updates and other documentation to clients, stakeholders, and the public. BS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia, South Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months Desire to be a leader in a consulting firm and take ownership of their work products Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong public speaking skills, both internally and externally Strong work ethic and self-motivation Ability to work accurately and efficiently High moral and ethical character Desire to develop, train, and mentor engineering teams to ensure successful project outcomes #J-18808-Ljbffr
