The Role

As a

DevOps Tech Lead

at Alchemy, youll lead a team of engineers responsible for building and scaling one of the most sophisticated, high-throughput infrastructures in the blockchain world. Youll focus on

architecting, automating, and optimizing systems

that power millions of global users, ensuring

high availability, performance, and security . Beyond the technical leadership, youll also

grow and mentor the team , shape best practices, and drive a culture of operational excellence. What You'll Do: Own the

end-to-end lifecycle

of infrastructure design, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement Architect and implement

scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure

(primarily AWS) Drive the adoption of

Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks Develop and enforce best practices for

observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response Partner closely with backend, security, and product engineering teams to ensure smooth, reliable service delivery Lead

technical design discussions, post-mortems, and architecture reviews

with a focus on scalability, reliability, and developer velocity Identify and proactively address

performance bottlenecks, cost inefficiencies, and system vulnerabilities Eventually (6 mos-12 mos in the role) lead and mentor a high-performing DevOps team, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence. Balance

What We're Looking For:

7+ years of relevant industry experience Strong expertise in

cloud platforms, bare metal

and distributed systems Proven experience

building, scaling, and maintaining production infrastructure

at high throughput and low latency Hands-on proficiency with

Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) , container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines Experience with

observability stacks

(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.) Strong background in

automation, scripting, and tooling

(Python, Go, or similar) Excellent ability to

diagnose and resolve complex system, scaling, or performance issues Interest in leading

high-performing teams , including hiring, coaching, and mentoring engineers Self-starter mindset with the ability to balance

technical depth, team leadership, and strategic impact Experience in Web3 or high-growth startups, a plus Entrepreneurial appetite (founded a company, drove internal company projects or built side projects), a plus
