KYC Tech Business Analysis Group Manager - C14/SVP - Tampa/Jacksonville The SMB Know Your Customer (KYC) Ops Organization is an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) function within the SMB business that is responsible globally for ensuring SMB meets the standards mandated by Corporate AML/Compliance and external regulators. Within the SMB KYC Ops Organization, the Global Business Solutions team is responsible for partnering with Operations, Business, Compliance and Technology in gathering, vetting, prioritizing and implementing KYC business requirements and solutions on the CitiKYC technology platform. The KYC Tech Business Analysis Group Manager will be responsible for advancing prioritized business project deployments on the enterprise-wide platform, CitiKYC. Citi is undertaking a modernization of its KYC platform to streamline clients lifecycle, leveraging the latest technology to build a rules-based platform focusing on automation. The platform aims to improve client experience through simplification and adoption of client facing applications/portals. Job Description The Tech Business Analysis Group Manager is a strategic senior management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning and execution. This role follows latest trends in the field and adapts them for application within the job and the business. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, negotiate, and convince others, often at a senior level, including colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. The role is accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business and entails responsibility over technical strategy. It has a significant impact on the area through complex deliverables and provides advice related to technology or operations of the business. The work impacts an entire area, ultimately affecting overall performance and effectiveness. The role may involve staff management, including resource management and allocation of work within the team or project. Responsibilities: Manage a large multi-faceted project/account/campaign or multiple projects at the same time. Manage technical business analysts supporting functional area with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned. Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure efficient design, development and implementation and that essential procedures are followed. Develop strategy and guidelines for staffing requirements, resource control, budget management, planning and prioritization, and contribute to defining standards. Resolve issues with impact beyond own area using in-depth understanding of business analysis concepts and procedures and knowledge of other areas. Collaborate as a team to achieve objectives and negotiate with senior leaders across functions; communicate with external parties as needed. Demonstrate significant business impact through evaluative judgment based on analysis in complex and dynamic situations, drawing from diverse internal and external sources. Drive end results as a representative of the business, creating project plans to meet stakeholder needs and deliver on time and within budget. Build and maintain a work-class organization focused on talent, learning and opportunity. Assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets by driving compliance with laws and regulations, adhering to policy, and escalating and reporting control issues with transparency; supervise others and hold them accountable to standards. Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant AML/KYC project/people management experience; experience in financial institutions globally, corporate and consumer banking is a plus. Ability to partner and influence across organizational lines. Clear and concise written and verbal communication. Strong leadership and relationship/team-building skills. Proven ability to apply complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques. Knowledge and experience with SDLC frameworks; Agile/Jira experience required. Effective prioritization and time management. Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat Professional. Keeps current with industry trends and new technology through professional associations and trainings. Knowledge and experience across Institutional Clients scope (Trade & Treasury Services, Securities & Funds Services/Custody, Global Banking, Markets, Private Banking) a plus.
