Controls Engineer
Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer with a background in lead or support commissioning and start-up activities on-site at manufacturing facilities. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and debugging PLC and HMI systems, primarily using Rockwell Automation (RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View). The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Brookville, OH Pay Rate: Pay is between $35 to $45/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level) Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC logic, I/O communications, and network diagnostics. Develop and update electrical and control schematics using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools. Interface with customers, project managers, electricians, and mechanical teams during project execution. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in industrial controls engineering, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation platforms: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, RSLogix/Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
