Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a Level IV perinatal center with night shift hours and certification requirements.
Responsibilities Work in a Level IV perinatal center with a 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 20-bed antepartum unit, and 8-bed OB Triage Adheres to AWHONN staffing guidelines Position is located in a brand new hospital opened within the past 6 months Night shift position from 19:00 to 07:00 13-week contract assignment Must provide care for labor, delivery, and antepartum patients in a high-acuity setting Travelers may be required to float within the perinatal units based on staffing needs Scrub color or dress code will be provided prior to start RTO policies require requests during submission Local candidates are eligible but may receive a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule COVID-19 vaccine is no longer required as of July 1, 2023 Auto offer process for all positions
Requirements Active RN license verified through Nursys and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics required Advanced NRP certification from AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics Ascension Fetal Monitoring certification, or AWHONN/Relias/other program within past 2 years if not included on competency exam All candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and a valid US home address
