Travel Job ID: T4H - 914 Unit Details & Job Duties: Treatments per day: Up to 30 per shift (varies by season); workload divided by floor, not by points Patient Types: NICU to geriatrics (ICU, stepdown, MedSurg, small Peds unit, no PICU, Level III NICU – vent occasionally) Areas Covered: Inpatient and ER Job Duties: ABGs (draw and analyze), breathing treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilators, assist with bedside bronchoscopy, possible LMA placement (no EKGs) Intubation: Assist only (not independent) Leadership: Always a team lead or charge on shift; travelers may be charge depending on experience/willingness Staffing: Never the only RT in-house Floating: ICU, floors, NICU, ER Certifications Required: BLS ACLS PALS CRT or RRT STABLE NRP (only for NICU or if handling babies) Experience Required: Minimum 1 year experience NICU experience required First-time travelers accepted Equipment Used: Drager vents Cervo-NICU Hamilton transport vent Vapotherm Philips V60 and V30 Department:
