McKinney volunteer opportunity for visiting Veterans and Elderly

The advertising of this opportunity is in the overall McKinney area, this is the office address and not the specific location to report. We work with terminally ill patients that live in their private homes, group homes or facilities. Our goal to provide companionship to these individuals that are seeking someone to visit. We can engage with them as they may want to be involved in a facility activity, an outing, playing cards, reading, or watching TV. There are many exciting things that a volunteer might have a desire to participate with the patients, such as painting, drawing, playing games, or other creative ideas. Our volunteers are so creative and you never know what you might be able to bring to the life of our patient.
