The Warehouse & Facilities Technician is a dynamic, cross-functional role responsible for supporting both warehouse operations and facilities management across multiple IQ Fiber locations. This position requires a dependable, flexible, and proactive individual who can travel as needed to assist with material handling, logistics, site maintenance, and operational setup. This is an on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL, with regular travel to other IQ Fiber facilities in the Southeast. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process inventory using FIFO methodology and WMS documentation Fulfill internal orders within 24 hours and conduct inventory audits Maintain warehouse organization and safely operate equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts Maintain facilities, monitor supplies, and support equipment setup/breakdown Coordinate with vendors for repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards Travel to support operations in Gainesville, FL and Savannah, GA Serve as flexible resource for urgent needs, including equipment retrieval Manage freight operations including loading/unloading, scheduling deliveries, and intercompany transportation Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding shipment status Demonstrate sound judgment, accountability, and process adherence Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and provide timely reports Utilize technology including WMS, NetSuite, RF-SMART, and Microsoft Office Assist with the coordination of facilities-related maintenance requests and ordering and restocking snack, beverage, and office supply items Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or facilities support preferred Familiarity with WMS platforms and RF scanner systems (RF-SMART experience a plus) Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to lift and move materials up to 50lbs Willingness to travel across multiple states for operational support up to 50% of the time Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Technological literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with NetSuite and RF gun systems highly desirable Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
