Req#: 34337 Eastern Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc., is seeking a passionate Engineering Application Specialist to join their team in Edgemont, PA. This customer-facing, technically skilled role involves working directly with the Outside Sales team and manufacturers to craft solutions for complex process challenges. Role & Responsibilities
Provide in-depth product and application knowledge, along with sales support. Create an exceptional experience for an assigned customer base by building and maintaining strong relationships. Handle quotations, respond to technical inquiries, and develop proposals for both small and large projects. Engage daily with customers, internal staff, and manufacturing partners. Act as the customer advocate for Eastern Controls and its manufacturing partners. Facilitate solutions by advising customers on appropriate products and collaborating with outside sales on pricing strategies to secure business. Communicate clearly with customers throughout the process. Identify opportunities to add supplemental equipment to existing RFQs. Qualifications & Profile
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Business & Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. Familiarity with the Process Industry and/or Electrical Heat Trace is a plus. Technical knowledge of instrumentation, gas detection, and valves is advantageous. Professional sales skills with a focus on growing business opportunities alongside Outside Sales Representatives. Living within a reasonable commute of Edgemont, PA is preferred.
