Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine labor, material, and time costs. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize project budgets. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing. Review and update historical data to improve the accuracy of future estimates. Prepare bid proposals and participate in pre-bid meetings as needed. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. A successful Senior Electrical Estimator should have: 10+ Years of experience with a proven track record of success winning electrical construction bids. Project experience in healthcare and/or mission critical projects Familiarity with Accubid estimating software Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices within the property industry. Experience in preparing cost estimates for complex projects in the construction department. Proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the industry. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. What's on Offer
