Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for the Advanced Therapies Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) organization. Own the advanced therapies product technology roadmaps; lead cross-functional and cross-sector teams in the strategic development of high-value solutions across technology, science, facilities, processes and products Lead product roadmap business planning strategies with value chain and manufacturing platforms to define and advance business process models Lead a team of technical product owners to ensure deep product and process understanding is scaled across the advanced therapies platform and maintain robust manufacturing processes Translate strategic roadmaps into detailed execution plans for programs to enhance product lifecycle outcomes Oversee implementation of life cycle management, new technology and automation projects to improve robustness, scalability, cost of goods, cycle time and first-time quality Ensure technical and manufacturing requirements are addressed throughout the lifecycle of new solutions Drive continuous improvement and foster an operational excellence culture to enhance productivity and efficiency Align decision making with enterprise strategy, evaluating short- and long-term goals Champion data solutions to ensure robust products and processes across the product lifecycle Develop strategies to enable rapid growth while improving reliability, compliance, and efficiency of product value chains Establish organizational capability build roadmap, define current-to-ideal state processes, systems, data and performance measures, and ensure fit-for-purpose training across the platform Maintain a robust technical support network related to lifecycle management, new technologies, automation, comparability, change management, and tech transfers for products QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
University/Bachelors Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent with 12-14 years Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience, or Masters/PhD in Engineering with 10+ years Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Operations and/or R&D in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing setting (cell/gene therapy, vaccines, or other advanced therapy products) Experience leading technology transfer activities and technical services for cell/gene therapies Excellent technical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of manufacturing sciences, cGMP, change management, regulatory and validation requirements for advanced therapies Knowledge of data analytics/statistics and process automation Ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams in an international environment Project-dependent travel All job postings are subject to local requirements.
