ACAS Systems Administrator/ Information Systems Security Officer (ISSE)

We're seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer & ACAS System Administrator to join our NTCSS Systems Team at Norfolk VA. You'll lead vulnerability assessment operations using ACAS, coordinate mitigation planning, and serve as the primary interface for incident response efforts. Responsibilities Lead vulnerability assessment operations using ACAS (Nessus, Security Center) Perform regular vulnerability scans and manage remediation tracking Conduct incident investigations and develop remediation strategies Generate ATO documentation supporting RMF accreditation Monitor system integrity through auditing and patch management Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements Design optimized security workflows to improve efficiency Qualifications Required: US Citizenship Active Secret clearance (ability to obtain T5 investigation clearance) DoD 8570 IAT Level 2+ certification (Security+, Network+, CISSP) 5+ years' experience solving technical problems Experience with DoD Business IT systems Demonstrated knowledge of ACAS architecture administration (Security Center, Nessus) Proven experience with vulnerability remediation and patch management Validated experience in Windows/Linux system administration Documented experience in Active Directory and domain services Documented experience in DoD STIGs and compliance requirements Substantiated skill in TCP/IP networking and firewall configurations Demonstrated knowledge of ACAS deployment in enterprise environments Evidenced mastery of system integration and authentication Validated experience in scan policy configuration and vulnerability analysis Documented experience in security patch implementation to DoD standards Showcased understanding of technical documentation and compliance reporting Exhibited familiarity with automation scripting for deployment and monitoring Demonstrated end-to-end vulnerability management expertise Displayed adeptness in problem-solving abilities in complex security environments Evidenced mastery of multi-platform support capabilities Demonstrated strong security mindset and collaborative approach Excellent time management and prioritization skills Desired: (CAP - Certified Authorization Professional, CCFP - Certified Cyber Forensics Professional, CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional, CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CISSP Concentrations, ISSAP - Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, ISSEP - Information Systems Security Engineering Professional, ISSMP - Information Systems Security Management Professional, CSSLP - Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional, SSCP - Systems Security Certified Practitioner) What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
