Responsible for the management and engineering of infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, computer hardware, storage and backups, directory and messaging services, automation, and deployment solutions. Essential Job Functions
Serve as a technical resource for infrastructure technologies. Provide Tier 3 support as needed. Participate in projects as assigned. Perform and coordinate routine maintenance and patching on supported systems. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quick reference guides (QRGs) for tasks such as infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployments and single sign-on (SSO) administration. Contribute to the development and implementation of architecture and infrastructure solutions. Support the creation of technical proposals for capacity expansion and new implementations. Facilitate cross-training and knowledge transfer of SOPs and QRGs with IT teams. Create and maintain documentation of overall infrastructure architecture, including cloud environments. Assist with capacity planning and configuration management. Participate in evaluations of technology vendors and solutions. Apply repeatable best practices in compliance with established architectural standards and engineering methodologies. Assist in implementing best practice security measures to protect organizational data and systems. Other Functions
Ensure compliance with internal controls related to job responsibilities and administrative activities. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business units and management. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with core infrastructure design. Experience with Azure foundations and Landing Zone methodologies. Experience with cloud networking (e.g., VPCs, Private Endpoints, NSGs, firewalls). Experience with AI technologies (e.g., OpenAI, AI Foundry, Gemini). Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, VMware Cloud Foundations, Azure Bicep, ARM templates). Experience with backup technologies, disaster recovery, and cloud-based replication. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, SAML/OpenID Connect, DNS/DHCP, and encryption solutions. Knowledge of monitoring technologies, scripting automation, deployment, and system maintenance methodologies. Relevant certifications (examples include ITIL Intermediate v3, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, VMware Certified Professional, CompTIA Server+/Storage+, EMC certifications, Cisco CCNP Data Center, Client ASE Storage Solutions Architect). Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and effectively influence decision-making. Strong understanding of business concepts and processes, and how they impact technology decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine root causes and implement solutions. Strategic thinking and organizational acumen with a focus on key success factors. Superior attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple competing, time-sensitive priorities. Ability to work independently without supervision. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
