Primary Responsibilities
Develop innovative radar signal processing and analysis algorithms to enhance national defense capabilities.
Conduct research on advanced algorithms for radar noise reduction, detection, and characterization.
Analyze radar data to optimize performance and outcomes.
Create efficient software implementations of proposed algorithms.
Document findings and methodologies clearly and comprehensively.
Collaborate effectively with a skilled team of professionals.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant radar signal processing experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Doctoral degree in a scientific field such as applied math, physics, or engineering.
Eligibility to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
Demonstrated experience in scientific algorithm development and radar data analysis.
Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar high-level programming languages.
History of innovation, problem-solving, and delivering technical results.
Excellent documentation skills to support findings.
This position requires on-site full-time work in San Diego, CA.
Preferred Qualifications Understanding of complex radar phenomenology, detection, and characterization.
Experience with programming in C/C++.
Comfortable with public speaking and delivering customer presentations.
