Hotel Houseman

As a Houseman, you play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the hotel. This position supports the housekeeping and maintenance teams by ensuring all public areas, guest spaces, and back-of-house areas meet high cleanliness standards. You will interact with guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere in alignment with our property’s vision, mission, and values. Responsibilities: • Greet guests warmly and assist with any reasonable requests. • Safely handle and dispose of trash and recycling throughout hotel premises. • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management. • Ensure guest areas remain tidy by promptly removing trash and ground litter. • Maintain cleanliness in public areas, guest spaces, and hotel grounds. Qualifications: • Friendly and service-oriented attitude. • Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions. • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds. • Comfortable working in varying conditions, including exposure to outdoor weather and cleaning chemicals. • No prior experience or training required; on-the-job training provided. Compensation: $12-$14.50
