Job Purpose: This position focuses on procuring PCB FAB materials such as Laminate, Prepreg, Copper Foils, and other support items (supplies, drill bits, solder mask, etc.). It also supports the Purchasing Manager with Capital Equipment procurement, service contracts, and other projects as needed. Responsibilities: Analyze demand/MRP data daily via Oracle ERP to determine optimal safety stock, inventory levels, and order quantities, leveraging supply base and commodity knowledge. Develop and maintain strong relationships with core vendors through regular communication and periodic review meetings. Establish good relationships with brokers/distributors. Make timely purchasing transactions to meet quality, schedule, cost, and strategic objectives. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to reduce costs and inventory levels. Identify root causes of material shortages and implement solutions. Resolve quality issues with purchased materials alongside QA and Engineering teams. Issue RMAs and implement corrective process improvements with vendors. Maintain purchasing data in Oracle system. Generate and develop reports for management and corporate requirements. Coordinate with Planning, Estimating, Engineering, and Sales teams for pricing and forecasting. Handle Indirect Purchase Requisitions (IPR) for non-inventory purchases. Update costs quarterly for materials and inventory items. Set up new vendors with Sanmina VCCS team. Work with AP to resolve pending vendor payments. Review supplier performance. Prepare for internal/external audits (ISO, AS9100).

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing purchasing and materials control, or equivalent. PCB FAB experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred. Strong relationship-building skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, delivering high-quality results. Strong negotiation skills.
