Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring experienced RN Float Pool nurses for a Tele/Med Surg position on night shift requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities Position is in the nursing float pool covering Telemetry and Med/Surg units at a hospital Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15 Assignment length is 13 weeks or longer Floating is required within Tele/Med Surg units as needed Responsible for providing care to a variety of medical-surgical and telemetry patients Night shift with coverage as assigned within the float pool No local candidates are accepted All certifications must remain current and valid at least through the first 30 days of assignment
Requirements Active VA or compact RN license required Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Telemetry or Med/Surg Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) No significant gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Candidates must live at least 65 miles from the facility Valid US Social Security Number required
