Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 5x8 hour shifts

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with option to work full 40 hours or flex 4 hours

• No call requirements

• 3 years of recent TruBeam experience required

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required upon hire

• License for Radiation Therapy required upon hire

• American Heart Association BLS certification required

• Must obtain and maintain State of Nevada Radiation Control Program certification

• Administer prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to predetermined treatment areas

• Perform localization procedures to prepare patients for radiation treatments

• Operate linear accelerators and simulators

• Provide patient support, education and teaching to cancer patients and families

• Assist in onboarding new team members and educating students

• Perform basic dosimetry and custom block fabrication

• Maintain accurate charting and documentation

• May be required to float within organization based on competency level

• Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period

• Limited requests for time off may not be honored due to critical staffing needs
