Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate professional to supervise daily operations at our WIC clinic. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of staff, ensure high-quality service delivery, and provide direct nutrition counseling to program participants. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership experience, and a commitment to supporting families through nutrition education and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee clinic operations and ensure efficient service delivery
Supervise, train, and support WIC staff; manage scheduling and time-off requests
Provide direct nutrition counseling and assessments as a WIC Dietitian
Address participant concerns professionally and effectively
Participate in outreach events and collaborate with community partners
Travel to nearby WIC clinic sites as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
Completion of Academy of Nutrition in Dietetics (AND) approved Internship Program.
Experience working within the WIC program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in data entry and general computer applications
Ability to work with diverse populations and present to groups
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (CDR)
Licensed Dietitian in the state of Missouri
Previous supervisory experience
Bilingual skills a plus
