Mold Changeover Technician

The Mold Changeover Technician is responsible for implementing and managing all mold and machine changeover processes as well as managing the quality function for relevant machinery. Key tasks and activities include: Sets up one or more machines, repair and troubleshoot equipment, ancillary equipment and support equipment Make required mold change support equipment as required Perform minor or routine maintenance and repairs Ensures the manufactured products meet specifications after machine is change over Establish Best in Class documentation for all equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic issues and partner with maintenance as required Prep molds for cleaning and identify any mold damage for repairs Who We Are Looking For... Background and Experience - Minimum High School Diploma (or GED/High School Certification); prefer Technical School Certification - 3-5 years relevant manufacturing experience in plastics technology or a similar technical area - Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred Technical Skills - Strong mechanical maintenance experience and strong knowledge of hand and power tools - Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems - Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAP
