FTE: 1 Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 80 Work Shift: Day: 8 hours Job Description: Form, lead, and facilitate cross functional teams in the planning, developing, coordinating and implementing of performance improvement and/or patient experience initiatives. Coach and advise on efforts that will serve to improve efficiency, quality, and the patient experience. Key Responsibilities
Lead cross functional teams through improvement efforts, ensuring implementation runs smoothly and that gains are sustained and measured through data analysis and ongoing measurement of actionable performance data. Facilitates the diagramming and evaluation of existing processes, including identification of gaps, root cause analysis of issues, and opportunities for improvement Coach and develop leaderships and team members to improve the organization's capability to continuously improve. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Performs cost and benefit analyses. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a work-related field from an accredited college or university or related field or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. Three (3) years' experience leading quality and process improvement efforts, preferably in a clinical setting. Knowledge of inpatient and clinic operations Demonstrated consultative, communication, coaching, teaching, facilitating and influencing skills. Project management experience in process transformation Proficient in Computer Applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Outlook. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to do data analysis, report writing and update/change/make project plans and strategic plans. Oral and written communication skills including training, coaching, and facilitating Dept Specific Experience: Performance Improvement Knowledge of Lean, Just In Time (JIT) and process flow techniques.
