ABOUT THE TEAM

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting to lead our Technical Revenue Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will have a mix of revenue accounting operations experience rooted in month-end and quarter-end close management, extensive technical revenue accounting experience with ASC 606, and the ability to make complex technical revenue matters simple. Primary responsibilities will include revenue close optimization, revenue accounting team coaching and development, second-level review of contract revenue accounting roadmaps, and design and implementation of our revenue policies, procedures, and internal control framework. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Serve as contributing revenue accounting subject-matter expert, advising on revenue accounting treatments, journal entries, standalone selling price assessments, and other technical accounting interpretations. Track and report to accounting and finance management contract review throughput and performance data regularly and make work assignment adjustments to maintain review pace with contract volume. Provide feedback on Technical Revenue Accounting Team’s contract interpretations and application of ASC 606 guidance to customer contracts. Prepare and/or review technical accounting contract write-ups, memos, and other documented position papers. Foster productive relationships with finance and accounting departments to identify and channel continuous improvement opportunities in line with revenue accounting requirements: close acceleration, automation, scale, precision, and standardization. Contribute on functional accounting and finance teams for special projects such as acquisitions, integrations, business development proposals, system implementations, and significant commercial contract negotiations. Contribute to team leadership by motivating, coaching, training, and mentoring team members to embrace a culture of continuous improvement. Support Anduril’s implementation of an enterprise-wide ERP system, adopting internal processes to system design and optimizing automation opportunities where possible. Support the external audit process with independent auditors, managing and reviewing prepared audit support. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant exposure to revenue-related topics. Demonstrated experience leading accounting teams in operational and technical accounting. Healthy mix of technical and operational revenue accounting preferred. Deep knowledge and experience with ASC 606 principles and practices with the ability to explain complex treatments and options to non-finance transaction and business teams. Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement and optimization initiatives within accounting or finance. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced organization. Prior experience in companies that focus on high-technology or advanced manufacturing preferred. CPA certification (Active or Inactive) or current CPA candidacy is preferred. Able to drive organizational change while also maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities and reporting. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities. US Salary Range $142,000 — $213,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
