Job Description : The Application Delivery Lead is responsible for solution and implementation activities as assigned for the Ryder Transportation Management (TM) technology portfolio. Major activities include customer facing, solution documentation, solution estimation, solution design, solution configuration, problem solving and solution implementation. This position will be required to work closely with business partners and extended technology team to deliver competitive and quality distribution management solutions. Responsibilities Translates business needs and objectives into requirements and project estimates. Enable competitive and quality technology solutions in response to business needs. Solution documentation Mapping documentation Solution configuration Solution modification design, test and delivery Design, develop, test and deploy complex SQL query statements Drive innovation and creative solutions to business challenges Assignments can include customer/enterprise change requests, customer projects, vertical projects, and technology projects Test planning and support Collaborates with business partners to contribute to the product roadmap; supports prioritization, resource planning, and investment decisions Continues to develop domain expertise through project experience, industry publications/events, and self-learning Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the Ryder Transportation Management platform and technology offerings Represents Ryder technology as the TM product subject matter expert in customer presentations/events Performs product demonstrations and solution training; communicates project status to customers Weekly status reports on assigned activities and accurate timesheet/reporting Maintains professional client-facing communication and collaboration to achieve results

Skills and Abilities

Well rounded knowledge of distribution/3PL industry to facilitate requirements discussion and troubleshooting between business owner, Ryder customer, and IT development teams Strong documentation skills related to business requirements, functional design, and solution configuration Strong client-facing skills and ability to build internal and external relationships to generate results through influence Ability to conceptualize how systems need to be configured and used to solve daily business problems Problem solving for complex supply chain challenges in a team environment Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions Ability to work with others to obtain results Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Maintains a high degree of professionalism Leadership competencies: Organizational Agility, Intellectual Horsepower, Dealing with Ambiguity, Integrity and Trust (preferred) SQL experience Results driven Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Visio: Data Visualization and Building diagrams/flow charts

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in distribution management, supply chain, information systems, information technology, or business Five (5) years or more in distribution/supply chain management experience; experience in a 3PL/4PL environment preferred Five (5) years or more in information technology and supply chain management systems Five (5) years or more in supply chain technology projects; implementation of supply chain technology solutions Five (5) years or more in use, configuration, or implementation of industry recognized distribution management solutions Five (5) years or more in designing/coding custom user/system interfaces via C++, Java, Android, and PowerShell
