Job Overview
Environmental Market Manager - Southeast Region. Remote within the Territory. Territory includes Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The Environmental Market Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan for the environmental market (including wastewater, water treatment, ENV aftermarket sales, and environmental OEMs) and for growing SEEPEX Inc. sales and margins in this market. Responsibilities
Environmental Sales Channel Partner (SCP) management review market coverage and partners to increase Environmental sales revenue. Manage Environmental sales opportunities through the sales cycle and assist Sales Channel Partners in closing project opportunities. Utilize analytics and dashboard metrics for ENV SCP review meetings (e.g., Dodge analytics, GovSpend). Make joint sales calls with Environmental SCPs to position Seepex products and services; manage current Environmental market OEMs and work with the Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities. Educate SCPs and Environmental Engineers on Seepex products and specifications. Maintain a list of key biosolids and pump personnel within engineering firms. Review specifications, position Seepex products, and pursue competitive advantages on bid jobs. Direct Environmental aftermarket sales partners and team members to call on plants as needed. Analyze named competitors and record competitive differences. Select Seepex equipment and recommend to Environmental Application Engineers. Hold pre-bid meetings with Environmental SCPs to review pricing and strategy; bid projects with Environmental SCPs and record bid data for tracking and reporting. Identify key competitors in the environmental market and develop presentations showing Seepex advantages; stay informed of competitor activities. Requirements
Bachelors degree in business or related field. 3+ years experience selling value-based services. Valid drivers license and a safe driving record. Core Competencies
Demonstrates a service-oriented customer focus with proven experience in relationship building and delivering quality customer experiences. Strong closing and negotiating skills. Articulate and fluent communicator, written and verbal, and at ease with public speaking. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to rapidly learn and retain product/service information and utilize it to position advantages for customers. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and quality. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced environment. Preferences
3+ years of sales experience in municipal or industrial water/wastewater treatment, environmental services, construction, energy, or engineering industries. Travel & Work Arrangements
Remote with travel up to 70%. Compensation
The total pay range for this role, not including incentive opportunities, is $90,000$110,000. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors including skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and geographic location. Hired applicants will be eligible for discretionary and/or nondiscretionary annual bonuses and incentive compensation. What We Offer
