This range is provided by Lactalis Heritage Dairy. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range : $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Additional compensation types : Annual Bonus Benefits: Medical insurance, Vision insurance, 401(k), Paid time off from day one, Education reimbursement, and other Total Rewards offerings. Responsibilities
As a Utilities Manager, manage the factory Utilities Systems and supervise the Utilities techs and Maintenance techs. Collaborate with operations & management staff to align duties with company goals and values. Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of Plant Utilities Systems (HVAC, boiler, ammonia refrigeration, plant cooling, air systems, fire, water, and wastewater systems). Ensure safe operation and adherence to safety regulations; maintain utility infrastructure. Perform or oversee repairs and installations, ensuring safety standards and regulations compliance. Analyze data and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reliability. Review and maintain regulatory compliance reports; oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) program and documentation. Manage CAPEX projects within Utilities / Facilities; plan, execute, and monitor progress within time and budget. Respond to outages, leaks, and other emergencies; oversee daily operations and maintenance of buildings. Identify and address potential issues to prevent future problems; communicate with utilities staff and plant personnel. Schedule and oversee routine maintenance; ensure reliability of incoming power distribution electrical systems. Review and approve SOPs for utilities plant equipment repairs, overhaul, and preventative maintenance. Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide training and guidance, and maintain accurate maintenance records. Demonstrate strong understanding of industrial machinery, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting. Direct and coordinate the work of utility maintenance staff; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred. Experience 5+ years Utilities/Facilities systems management experience is required. Certifications and knowledge Knowledge of Ammonia Industrial Refrigeration is required. Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) is preferred. Knowledge of PSM compliance for ammonia refrigeration systems. Knowledge of Compressed air systems, cooling towers, boiler room and plant steam systems, water and wastewater treatment, plant utilities electrical systems, and capital project planning/implementation.
