About the Role:

As a CBRE Reliability Engineer, you will work with upper management to run the primary Reliability program at key client sites. You'll monitor, analyze, and resolve system and infrastructure problems of mission-critical operational systems.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset's maintenance plan. Provide technical support to the site for mechanical equipment and fixed assets.

Work with engineering and operations teams to perform the evaluation of assets.

Develop risk management plans that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment problems.

Identify faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures.

Ensure all established policies and procedures are maintained. Maintain documentation of routine maintenance schedules, system configurations, applications, and technical reference materials.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions.

Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

Work within broad guidelines and policies.

Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus and convinces to reach agreement.

What You'll Need:

Engineering degree preferred; High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience required. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Must have strong technical experience in mechanical assets, including chillers, boilers, AHU's, RTU's, pumps, fans, compressors, motors, generators, and other major equipment assets.

Must have prior management or supervisory experience.

Strongly prefer vibration, infrared, or ultrasound analysis exp.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

· CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Reliability Engineer position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary is $125,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
