The posted compensation range of $24.00 - $30.95/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. Job Summary: To decontaminate, clean, repackage, sterilize and provide instruments, equipment and supplies to the operating room and other units in the hospital. Assists in managing inventory efficiently and effectively which includes ordering or indication when supplies are needed, receiving and stocking incoming materials, vendor trays, orthopedic hardware and sterilization supplies. Coordinating efforts with the surgical team to ensure that trays and instrumentation are available at the right time for the right case. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification through International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management (IAHCSMM) or CBSPD certification through Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) - to be tracked manually and locally Strong verbal and written communication skills Must take call shifts as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Two years of recent experience with steam and chemical sterilization processes in a hospital setting Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
