Aircraft Generation Supervisor

Supervises crews of represented mechanics and avionics technicians responsible for systems testing, and operational ground checks and flights. Responsible for driving and adjusting as necessary work assignments to meet tactical and strategic goals. Ensures that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget following established procedures, schedules, and work plans. Administers and executes policies and procedures that typically affect individual employees. Maintains area of responsibility, monitors "Clean as you go", and tool control by following all policies and procedures. Completes end of shift shut down process and checklist. Liaisons with Flightline Operations leadership to ensure all Safety related compliance requirements are met. Conducts scheduled and unscheduled Safety Audits, identifies risks, and applies mitigating actions. Reviews Training Reports and elevates delinquencies/deficiencies to stimulate resolutions. Coordinates with Training Representative to maximize learner throughput focusing on reducing Training associated DCI and inadvertent Training charged to overtime. Coordinates with Flightline Operations leadership to ensure the proper mix of certifications are maintained throughout the team. Coordinates with Flightline Operations leadership to develop and implement employee engagement activities. Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access. 3 day weekends every weekend! Basic Qualifications: Experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Flight Line Operations, and/or Aerospace Manufacturing. Avionics and/or electrical background. C-130J Experience Desired Skills: Engine run qualification history Degree or relatable experience Leadership Advanced troubleshooting experience Knowledge in the use of QADS/DIMS/SFM/EBOM/EMAP and other tools in production operations environment common to Lockheed Martin Experience leading large teams of over 10 people Managing in a union environment Debriefing C-130 or other platforms Fault code isolation and the use of technical orders Blueprint and schematic interpretation Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
