Quality Assurance Specialist

Reporting to the Quality Manager at our Jackson, TN manufacturing facility, you will be a contact for QA during third shift operations. You will review production records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, collaborate with production and quality teams to address discrepancies, maintain accurate documentation, communicate with team members, participate in training for continuous improvement while following company policies and safety guidelines and documenting process deviations. How will you affect our business? Work onsite, 12am-8am, at our Jackson, TN location. Conduct document review ensuring compliance to Conagra standards and releasing product upon satisfactory results. Ensure product not meeting specifications is placed on hold preventing release. Ensure that all records comply with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements, including FDA, USDA, CA State and HACCP guidelines. Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of record review activities, including approvals and rejections. Respond to calls from operations and escalate issues when needed. Conduct pre-operational inspections, sanitation effectiveness swabbing, and line approval to release. Back fill supervisor role when there are outages and occasional weekend coverage. Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement programs to enhance knowledge related to record review and food safety practices. Document any process deviations and enter them in the database. Any other assigned tasks. Do you have what it takes? High School diploma or GED equivalent 1+ years experience in a quality assurance role Prior knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards Auditing experience Compensation: Pay Range: $49,000-$65,000. The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.
