Davey Resource Group, a Davey Company. Davey Resource Group, a Davey Company, is seeking a senior-level Ohio Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) to join our Kent, Ohio Office. The ideal candidate will share our passion for the ecological restoration of floodplains, streams, wetlands, and riparian habitats. Projects will include green infrastructure design, ecosystem restoration, resiliency planning, dam removal, and wetland/stream restoration design. Locations

Kent, OH; Sharon Center, OH. Work Site: Hybrid. Additional Locations: NA. Responsibilities

Apply knowledge to a variety of assignments and make independent decisions based on sound engineering judgment and past experience. Participate in projects involving fluvial geomorphology, sediment transport, stream and wetland ecology, and natural channel design. Manage projects and project budgets; travel and perform fieldwork as required. Utilize AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D; conduct field surveys and data collection; perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; ensure compliance with environmental regulations; provide construction oversight. Convey technical information effectively; guide junior staff on objectives and issues; interact with internal staff, reviewing agencies, and clients as needed. Collaborate with supervisors and teams to develop new techniques and procedures for complex projects. Required Education And Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. PE registration required or ability to obtain within 12 months. 810 years of full-time professional engineering experience. Advanced experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; design experience with stream/wetlands restoration, stormwater, and/or water resources. Superior writing, communication, and computer skills (Google Suite) with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet project deadlines; willingness to travel to sites; overnight stays may be required. Flexible working style; ability to work independently and with teams of specialists to meet client and project needs. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with stream restoration, field data collection, water resources engineering, and hydraulic and hydrology investigations. Current industry registration or ability to obtain upon employment. Knowledge of stream ecology, biology, geomorphology; understanding of watershed hydrology, stream hydraulics, and sediment transport. Familiarity with regional regressions, regional curves, and reference data in stream restoration design. Ability to evaluate design discharge, channel cross sections, profiles, and planform using multiple methods. Ability to read and interpret ecological restoration construction plans; interpret H&H model results. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, HEC-RAS or other hydrologic/hydraulic software; construction document production. Understanding of Clean Water Act, state and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes; construction oversight experience. Technical Proficiencies (Desired)

AutoCAD Civil 3D; RIVERMorph; HEC-RAS; HydroCAD; ArcGIS; Survey Grade GPS and Total Station; Rosgen or equivalent natural channel design. Additional Information
