Overview
Experiential/Events Project Manager (Contract) Contract through December, 20-25 hours a week. Location: Venice, CA/Remote. Start Date: ASAP. The Lighthouse, part of Whalar Group, is a first-ever creative campus and studio playground for the Creator Generation, offering Creators an in-real-life platform to Learn, Make, and Belong. With Venice already open, and Brooklyn, NY opening in Fall 2025, and London/EMEA opening in 2026, the campuses empower and support career Creators and creative professionals, providing a dynamic environment tailored to their needs. Were seeking an experienced
Project Manager (Events & Partnerships)
to lead the planning and execution of six high-profile activations in 2025. This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on project management, ensuring every event is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative standard. Youll be the central point of contact between our internal teams, partners, and vendorsdriving collaboration, problem-solving, and ensuring flawless execution. Responsibilities
Act as the primary account lead, managing partner relationships and serving as the key point of contact. Oversee end-to-end planning for both intimate fireside-style events and larger-scale experiential activations. Create and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met across internal teams and partners. Coordinate all event logisticsvenues, layouts, schedules, and operational details. Source, negotiate, and manage vendors (F&B, rentals, dcor, fabrication, staffing, etc.). Oversee creative workflows, from look-and-feel decks to digital assets, ensuring brand alignment. Lead weekly check-ins and status calls with stakeholders, delivering clear updates and identifying risks early. Prepare production plans (run of show, staffing, floor plans) and comprehensive post-event recaps. Troubleshoot challenges with a solutions-first mindset, keeping projects on track. Qualifications
Proven project or event management experience, ideally overseeing multiple activations simultaneously. Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain excellent relationships. Experience managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and tracking budgets. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing deadlines and priorities. A collaborative, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skillsclear, confident, and proactive. Resourceful, solutions-focused, and comfortable troubleshooting challenges under pressure. Flexible availability to accommodate event schedules, including heavier workloads during event weeks. Rate
