The Arbitration Administrator will report to the Arbitration Manager and resolve differences between buyers and sellers arising from representations made on an auction. Research issues and recommend final decisions regarding post-auction issues, and perform duties assigned by the Arbitration Manager. Ensure that company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws, are followed at all times by persons under their jurisdiction. Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions. Be thoroughly familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer service and arbitration. Resolve customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise management of serious complaints. Resolve arbitration differences in a polite and clear manner, ensuring that each customer is aware of sale regulations. Research and recommend options and resolutions to the Arbitration Manager regarding post-auction issues (e.g., mechanical repair, transportation costs). Communicate final decisions to both buyer and seller and coordinate the post-auction process (e.g., unwinding deals, price negotiation, transportation returns). Coordinate and facilitate logistics for third-party inspections of vehicles and maintain proper records. Understand and enforce ACV Arbitration policies and procedures. Promote teamwork, set a positive example, and ensure follow-through on directives, schedules, and accounting from the Arbitration Manager or designated manager. Maintain open communication with the entire team including management; suggest new customer services and procedures as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. What you will need
Minimum – High School diploma or GED Preferred – Bachelor's degree 3 years of customer service and/or claims experience Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience preferred Automotive auction experience strongly preferred Ability to be self-motivated and work independently Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and assist others in doing so Compensation
$26.92-$29.81 per hour. Final compensation will be based on the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law. No immigration or work visa sponsorship will be provided for this position. Values and Equal Opportunity
