Overview This is a Defined Term position with the Alliance, focused on long-term project work until completion or until a specified end date not to exceed December 31, 2026. This is a fully benefited position that allows you to be an integral part of our team. We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to join our Compliance Department. This position is primarily remote, with in-person team meetings held once a quarter in Scotts Valley, CA. Responsibilities Contribute to the development of regulatory filings and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Assist in organizing and implementing new requirements, while maintaining Alliance policies and procedures. Support administrative functions of the Regulatory Affairs Unit. Perform other related duties as assigned. About the Team The Compliance Department is committed to helping employees navigate the complexities of compliance obligations. The Regulatory Affairs team acts as the primary liaison with regulators, identifies and implements new legal requirements, and submits necessary regulatory reporting. The Ideal Candidate Experience in healthcare regulatory processes or a similar field. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to self-motivate in a remote work environment while staying connected to the team. Excellent multitasking skills, thriving in a dynamic setting. Time-efficient, with the capacity to meet strict deadlines. Familiarity with Medi-Cal, Medicare Advantage, or D-SNP programs and related regulations. What You'll Need to Be Successful Knowledge of: Research, analysis, and reporting methods. PC systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). State and federal legislative and regulatory processes. Project management principles and practices. Ability to: Quickly understand Alliance functions and compliance responsibilities. Interpret Medicare and Medi-Cal regulations effectively. Research legal materials and analyze contractual language. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and develop actionable recommendations. Document and resolve complex issues clearly and independently. Manage a high volume of governmental relations tasks efficiently. Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Policy, Health Care Planning, or a related field, coupled with at least three years of compliance experience; a Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience. Other Information This position operates in a hybrid work environment, with an interview process conducted remotely. Attendance at quarterly company and department meetings is required. Some positions may require in-office presence based on business needs. The compensation for this role is based on the candidate's qualifications and market factors: Typical areas in Zone 1:

$69,937 - $111,904 USD Typical areas in Zone 2:

Fresno area, Bakersfield, Central Valley, Eastern California, Eureka area Zone 2 Range:
