We have an exciting opportunity to join our Transmission Project Controls Team on the Risk Management Team. This position will assist in the creation of business integration solutions to support the respective business needs for our Risk Management Group. The selected individual will meet with internal customers to understand their business needs, define report requirements, design meaningful reports to drive action, and provide user support by creating guides and performing end user training and reporting. The role is available in Hartford, CT, Westwood, MA and Manchester, NH. Essential Functions
Meets with internal customers to understand business needs and collaboratively identifies best practice solutions and defines report requirements. Gains a clear understanding of data and end user workflow to validate results and reconcile discrepancies when necessary. Utilizes a variety of tools and methodologies to create useful reports with actionable information. Designs, implements and helps maintain reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence tools. Monitors the performance of reports and makes recommendations to optimize or improve the design. Monitors data integrity and assists in resolving data discrepancies between data warehouse and other sources. Creates and maintains documentation including requirements, design, and end user manuals. Provides end user training and support. Technical Knowledge / Skills / Education / Licenses / Certifications
Must have expertise in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow; Power BI including DAX is highly desired. Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL; SSIS. Primavera P6 Professional, EPPM, or OPC. Experience with common data science toolkits (e.g., R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab) and applied statistics (distributions, statistical testing, regression). Experience in Microsoft Excel and Access development. Proficiency with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming, including the ability to analyze, debug, and enhance existing VBA applications. Exposure to Gateway services and handling user and application security. Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Adept at producing detailed and accurate written documentation. Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team. Ability to gain a high-level understanding of the organizations business systems and processes. Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent experience Three to five years of business and technical experience Licenses & Certifications
Risk Management Certification is highly desirable Working Conditions
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required. Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary. Office environment with standard business activities (sitting, standing, movement). Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is: $84,560.00-$93,950.00 Worker Type:
