Monitoring non-retail areas (distribution, manufacturing, and office) in order to eliminate insects, rodents, or unwanted wildlife. The responsibilities listed on this posting are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Required Qualifications
Be at least 20 years old. Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time. Have a valid drivers license and obtain authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position). Be able to obtain a Limited Structural Pest Control License in Florida within one year of his or her start date in the position. Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Be able to move a minimum of 200 pounds. Be able to stand for long periods of time. Be able to bend, climb, stoop, and twist. Be capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system. Be able to use chemicals and equipment that require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Be able to read labels, write reports, calibrate chemicals, and solve math problems. Be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions. Successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position): Basic Office Skills Following Written Instructions Have the ability to work well with others and be a team member. Show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work. Show a commitment to Publixs mission. Be able to obtain medical clearance to wear respiratory protection (an air purifying respirator) within 2 weeks of accepting the contingent job offer (requires maintaining facial hair in a manner ensuring the respirator fits properly). Preferred Qualifications
