Painter
Fat Fender Garage is seeking a professional to fill the role of Painter. The highly qualified Automotive/Truck Painter will play an integral role in building and engaging the company's customer mission having a deep understanding and passion as an Automotive/Truck Technician and willing to contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed to promote the long-term growth with Fat Fender Garage. This is a full-time and permanent role.

About Your Role
• Highly skilled in painting: base coats, tri-coats, solids, metallics and clear coats
• Must be able to blend adjacent panels and paint correct vehicles
• Ensure the paint area, prep station, paint booth, paint storage and paint mixing area are clean.
• Apply paper, masking tape to protect non-painted surfaces.
• Preparing the color tint to match or blend paint color.
• Mixing all paint and chemical according to manufactures direction/specifications.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years for professional auto motive paint experience
• High school diploma, trade school or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
• Ability to work well independently or in a team environment.
• Good communication skills - both written and verbal
• Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
Physical Demands
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
• Be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Safely operates a motor vehicle.
