Job Title: Estimator Job Description
Lead the estimates on assigned projects, ensuring timely execution of the entire estimate deliverable process. Analyze drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and develop detailed estimates and quantity take-offs.
Responsibilities
Conduct initial analysis of drawings and specifications to ensure all necessary documentation is available.
Develop full-scope detailed estimates and quantity take-offs based on various stages of project documentation.
Provide direction to the project team regarding means and methods, schedule, budget, and strategy.
Assemble pre-bid packages and attend project site pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews.
Utilize company technologies for efficient estimating and pre-construction processes while maintaining data throughout the project cycle.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Solicit and analyze qualified subcontractor and vendor proposals, ensuring adequate coverage and scope understanding.
Manage and maintain the subcontractor database and record cost history of proposals.
Prepare and participate in bid proposals, ensuring clear presentation for client review.
Review documents for completeness and identify discrepancies or potential scope gaps.
Serve as a resource in project transition to the Project Operations team to ensure a smooth transition and successful project execution.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
