Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - Field Service Specialist

As a Diesel Mechanic - Field Service Specialist, you'll serve as the frontline expert responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment and vehicles directly at customer job sites. This independent, mobile role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer-facing service, making you a key contributor to both operational success and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostic inspections on diesel engines and related systems.
Service and repair heavy-duty diesel equipment including generators, compressors, forklifts, and trucks.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and exhaust systems.
Replace worn or damaged components such as hoses, belts, filters, and batteries.
Maintain accurate digital service logs, repair reports, and work orders.
Educate customers on proper equipment usage to minimize breakdowns.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Build strong relationships with jobsite foremen and clients through professional, reliable service.
Provide on-call support during peak operational periods as needed.
