Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analyst Principal

Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has a challenge career opportunity for a Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analyst Principal who will provide engineering and technical analysis expertise to support the development of new missile defense capabilities for the countermeasure mitigation, discrimination, and identification of lethal objects, and electronic protection. This position is highly technical and requires a background with significant technical experience. Responsibilities: Provide technical analysis and support for a team which provides technical analysis, management, and general scientific support for services and products for MDA's Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate. Develop and formulate options for improving capabilities for countermeasure mitigations, discrimination of objects, and electronic protection of missile defense systems. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: MS/MA degree and 12+ years of experience or a BS/BA with 20+ years of experience is acceptable in lieu of a MS/MA degree. Active Secret Clearance Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI access Experience in analysis of IR/RF signatures, analysis and development of electromagnetic countermeasures and electronic protection, and other physics and statistics-based analytical efforts. Experience in conducting multi-discipline and multi-functional technical analysis as well as development of trade studies, risk analysis, and mitigation efforts. Knowledge of missile defense fundamentals, primarily discrimination and object classification. Experience in technical system performance assessments, contingencies, and implementation planning. Desired: Active TS clearance with SCI access MDA experience Degree in a STEM or technical specialty Experience working in special access programs Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with MDA and/or DoD programs and processes Ability to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems Experience writing, presenting, and coordinating product and engineering plans, policies, and procedures Understanding system interface requirements and requirements management Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas and produce and present clear, concise, well-organized, and audience-relevant presentations and documents. Reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks Experience working in a configuration-controlled environment and ensuring proper levels of handling are applied to items
