Profit Sharing & Team Member Discount Highly collaborative work environment Monday-Friday work week On campus coffee shop/cafeteria with live music POSITION SUMMARY: The Developer Internship provides students avaluable experience with real world applications while being able to work a part-time, flexible schedule to fit your educational needs. Interns will beinvolved throughout the entire development life cycle of an applicationand work on identifying and analyzing anyproblems with the help of a Software Engineer mentor. Other duties may include documenting user requirements, completingapplication change requestsand quality assurance testing. The position requires 15-20 hours per week between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. The position is flexible and we work withyour school schedule PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Development & Support: Develop and maintain applications, primarily using Java Work through the entire development lifecycle, creating program specifications through coding, implementation and testing Create test plans and thoroughly test and debug all programs prior to implementation Provide weekly status updates on current projects Work with stores, Help desk and technical support Team Members to troubleshoot problems as they arise Maintain an in-depth knowledge of User's operations to facilitate communication Production Issues: Identify problem trends pro-actively Execute action plan(s) Follow established processes for problem handling and resolution Security & Confidentiality: Maintain information confidentiality and security Protect, prevent and report all unauthorized attempts to obtain corporate information Skills & Requirements SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Actively enrolled in a college/university, pursuing anAssociate or Bachelordegree inSoftware Design, Software Development, Computer Science, orComputer Programming major Knowledge of the JAVA programming language JSPs, Servlets, EJBs, Spring, Object Oriented Design Familiarity with XML, Eclipse, Android Studio and Visual Studio is helpful Excellent design and analytical skills Excellent communication skills Capable of working on both individual and team-oriented projects Must be able to work in Eau Claire, WI for the duration of the internship Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship Qualifications Don't see a job that meets with your interests?
