What Youll Do Modify and enhance existing applications to improve performance, usability, and maintainability Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely and effective manner Maintain documentation for code, processes, and system configurations Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices Demonstrate self-motivation, enthusiasm for learning, and adaptability to change Actively listen and contribute to team discussions, offering thoughtful input on complex situations Assist in leading others by identifying issues early and helping teammates navigate challenges Demonstrate solid understanding of primary specialization, such as: UX Design Front-End Development Mid-Tier / Backend Development Database Development

Broaden expertise beyond core specialization by developing complementary skills across other technical areas. Possess foundational knowledge of the broader application landscape, including:

CI/CD pipelines Observability tools and practices Event-driven architecture Application security principles

Support team cohesion by practicing active listening and showing consideration for diverse perspectives. Build authentic, respectful, and valued relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in application development Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python) Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong interest in emerging web technologies Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Demonstrate ability to learn from feedback and grow in leadership readiness Experience with system architecture mapping, business process modeling, and mentoring is a plus
