Loan Processor
Job Summary: The Loan Processor is responsible for the preparation, review, and management of loan documents. This role ensures that all loan documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with banking laws and regulations. The Loan Processor works closely with loan officers, other departments, and outside parties to facilitate the loan process, contributing to customer loyalty and the overall success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and generate loan documents for various types of loans, including personal, mortgage, and commercial loans. Review loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy. Ensure all loan documents comply with federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Coordinate with loan officers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with loan documentation. Disburse loan proceeds. Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met. Assist in the loan closing process by preparing closing documents and coordinating with relevant parties. Provide support to loan officers and other team members as needed. Qualifications: Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Word. Skilled knowledge of banking laws, regulations, loan policies, and procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Prior loan documentation and banking experience is advantageous. Education Requirements: Requires a high school education or equivalent work experience that demonstrates the ability to read, write, interpret, and apply instructions to perform the required activities.
