Sr. Oracle Applications DBA On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for an Sr. Oracle Applications DBA for a contract opportunity in New York, NY. Responsibilities
Develop, design, construct, implement, and maintain database applications supporting regulatory initiatives (Dodd Frank, Basel III), financial professionals and risk management functions. Collaborate across stakeholders (product managers, project managers, business analysts, and testers) to elicit and analyze requirements. Support testing and integration. Support maintenance needs. Design and build database solutions to satisfy application (business and technical) requirements. Perform data analysis where requirements may need to be derived from available documentation, interviews with users, and file specifications/samples. Develop physical database design. Perform database administration at the application level. Provide database performance tuning and application performance tuning. Provide SQL development, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Mandatory Skills
Need Oracle DBA with application support experience which is necessary. Preferred: 7+ years as a hands-on Oracle technologist with a mix of database design, application development and database development including: Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g or 12c administration and Oracle Apex administration; experience with TOAD, PL/SQL, TSQL, Shell Scripting/Perl/Awk, Apache, UNIX/Linux, Replication and Production Maintenance. Bachelors degree in a related field. Oracle and/or SQL Server database certifications.
