AWS Cloud Security Architect

About: One of InterExs key clients within the Broadcasting Entertainment Industry is looking for an AWS Cloud Security Architect. With over 5,000+ employees and $50 billion in annual revenue, this organization is one of the globes most renowned network organizations. Job Description The AWS Cloud Security Architect will work with stakeholders and industry experts to understand and build an alignment on the various architectural technology standards. This role serves as a thought leader to challenge/influence all levels across the organisation to rethink routine, embrace new best practices, and drive adoption of technology standards. This role will also apply enterprise security architecture governance over solutions that provide technical capabilities. Work with various stakeholders to build an enterprise alignment around cloud security strategy, standards, roadmaps, and terminology. Facilitate the creation of clear, concise, and easy-to-access technology standards to provide engineering teams with tactical direction for achieving the enterprise security strategy. Clearly communicate and evangelize the value associated with adhering to the security strategy and corresponding standards. Create visibility and build awareness of the gap between current state security implementation versus future state architecture and advocate for gaps to be filled. Ensure seamless governance is applied to various engineering teams who are building technical capabilities.

Experience required

Comprehensive experience with AWS cloud providers and their capabilities. Strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective. Experience providing guidance and defining strategies for how companies should deal with cloud security. Bachelors degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related relevant experience. 5+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions in AWS. Ability to partner within and across teams to gain consensus and enable change. Ability to influence stakeholders. Ability to drive tasks to completion. Strong communication skills for creating and sharing presentations to multiple levels of audiences of stakeholders senior executives in business and IT, architects, developers, etc.
