About the Team
The Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) team is seeking Embedded NixOS Engineers to build the core infrastructure used to develop, build, and deploy cutting edge software. As an Embedded NixOS Engineer, youll be responsible for EW teams software supply chain, building tools to target downstream software environments, performing NixOS bringup on state-of-the-art hardware designs, and helping deploy EW technology. Youll collaborate with leaders in mechanical, electrical, RF, FPGA, and software design to deliver the next generation of EW capabilities to end users, while engaging with practitioners in the NixOS ecosystem. What Youll Do Work with electrical and FPGA engineers to bring up NixOS on hardware platforms. Implement build and deployment infrastructure for the EW software pipeline. Shape build, deployment, and CI/CD roadmaps to streamline delivery of capabilities to customers.
Required Qualifications
Experience with enterprise build and deployment systems. Experience with image building infrastructure for embedded Linux systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Nix/NixOS/Nixpkgs (professional or in an open source context). Experience with typed functional programming languages (Haskell, Scala, F#, OCaml, Rust, etc.). Experience designing and bringing AArch64 Embedded Linux products to market. Experience with custom hardware drivers and Linux kernel module development. Experience with FPGA development and MATLAB, especially C code generation.
Salary and Benefits
US Salary Range: $138,000 $207,000 USD The salary range is an estimate and may vary based on experience and other factors.
