Responsibilities The Patient Safety Assistant is responsible for providing direct supervision and companionship to patients as a safety measure to prevent suicidal, behavioral, and medical patients from harming themselves.

Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and assigned patient. Must demonstrate calm, pleasant demeanor
What You Will Need
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Required Licenses, Certificates, Registrations
PREFERRED CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN, OR RELATED HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE BLS CPI TRAINED Minimum 1 year acute hospital /healthcare setting experience. Must be able to complete training module prior to first assignment
